It is situated in the Port Vell of Barcelona. The aquarium is a magical and mysterious world with about 11,000 animals of approximately 450 different species. The star of the aquarium is the "Oceanarium" aquarium, unique in Europe, with two different specimens of sharks, moon fish, moranes and sea breams. A spectacular transparent tunnel takes the visitor below the water and the visitor has a sensation to be at the bottom of the sea. Besides the information about the world of the oceans, the aquarium is a unique experience for children and adults.
